Evelyn Mae Weaver Copeland's Obituary
Evelyn Mae Weaver Copeland, age 94, a native of Brookwood, AL and a resident of Irvington, AL the last 5 years went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, October 15, 2014. She lived in Eight Mile for 36 years and Theodore for 20 years. Evelyn was a member of Travis Road Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, David Wesley Copeland Sr., parents, Ira N. Weaver and Willie Mae Jones Weaver, brother, Andrew Weaver, sisters, Irella Beach, Susie Ritter, Mary Perrette, Louise Stringer, sons-in-law, Wayne Hammack, Larry Sellers. She is survived by her children, David Wesley (Barbara) Copeland Jr., Mary Hammack, Diane Sellers, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, brothers, Gary Weaver, Ira (Joyce) Weaver, sisters, Imogene Cochoran, Betty (Robert) Reid, Ruth (Aidney) Reeves, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held Friday, October 17, 2014 at 10am from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home with Brother Charles Couey and Brother Ricky Wallce officiating. Music was provided by Ron Dykes. Interment was in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
