ERNESTINE MITCHELL LAVENDER's Obituary
FT. VALLEY –
Ernestine Mitchell Lavender, 88, passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday, December 24, 2020, after an extended illness. Private Graveside Services will be held on Monday, December 28, 2020, in Oak Lawn Cemetery in Ft. Valley.
A lifelong resident of Peach County, Mrs. Lavender was a homemaker. For over half of her life and prior to her illness, she worked to create and sustain a warm and loving environment for her husband, her children, and her grandchildren. She leaves to them a legacy of kindness and compassion.
Left to cherish the memories they made with their beloved “Teen” are her loving and devoted husband of seventy years, Buddy Lavender of Ft. Valley; her son and daughter-in-law, Bill and Sandy Lavender of Perry; three grandchildren, Graham Lavender (Holly) of Perry, Casey Armstrong (Justin) of Newnan, and Heather King of Helen; and five great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Lavender was preceded in death by her parents, her sister, Delores Eggler, and her daughter, Tina Marie Peterson.
