I am teaching Wednesday night Bible class tonight, and I'm mentioning Emory Wilson, so i googled him and saw he died. He was my basketball coach in middle school and Bucky was my good friend. What a great man he was! I'll see him again sometime in heaven.
Emory was very dedicated to anything he was involved with. He loved Missions and served on committees at Rehoboth Baptist Association. He was passionate about Bill Glass Prison Ministry. We would always see each other at the Oil Lamp. ❤️
Such a wonderful man who used his talents for the glory of God and for the good of others. God bless his family and friends. You were truly blessed.
My Daddy worked for Mr. Emory and Ms. Ann at Wilson Galleries while I was growing up. I attended a Bill Glass weekend in prison and felt honored to be coached by him on how to treat those we would meet. His laugh was fun to hear as he joked and helped through that trip. Lifting each of the family up in my prayers. I know He must be in awe of His reward He has gotten for His work here on earth spreading the Gospel. Praying for the whole family!!!!!
I have known Mr Emory my whole life! I used to kid him that he used to change my diapers! Close friend of my Mom and Dad, Dot and Bill Hudson! He sons up with my brother! Always a source of calm and reason in Fort Valley! He had a hard time for a while but handled it all with Grace and exemplified a true Christian attitude in all he did! I know of no one who did not love Mr Emory! We are the losers in this death! Heaven gained a resident Saint! My prayers are with the entire family for God’s Peace to descend in them and reside there!
