Elsie Hamilton Sollie's Obituary
Ms. Elsie Hamilton Sollie, lifelong native of Grand Bay Alabama, born September 19, 1914 passed away April 29, 2015 at home surrounded by family. In her 100 years, Ms. Sollie was known by family and friends as a very uplifting lady who never spoke ill of anyone. She was a lifelong member of Union Baptist Church and was always active in her Sunday school class. She is preceded in death by her husband Phillip W. Sollie and great great granddaughter Makenzie G. Culver. She is survived by her one son James “Ronnie” (Jeanette) Sollie; 3 grandchildren, Randy (Gaylene) Sollie, Sherry (Randy)Cates, Lisa (Doug) Estle; 6 great grandchildren; 5 great great grandchildren and many more family and friends.Visitation will be held Saturday, May 2, 2015 at 1 pm at Union Baptist Church with service to follow at 2:00. Interment will be at Union Baptist Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the building fund at Union Baptist Church, 5251 Grand Bay Wilmer Road, Grand Bay, AL 36541
