Ellis O. Hamilton Jr.'s Obituary
Age 65, a resident of Grand Bay, AL passed away on Thursday, April 6, 2017 at his home in Grand Bay. Ellis worked at the Paper Mill in Moss Point, MS from 1971 to their closing in 2001. He was employed there for 30 years. Ellis was a member and deacon of First Baptist Church of Grand Bay, AL. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. Ellis was preceded in death by his father, Ellis O. Hamilton Sr. Ellis is survived by his wife of 14 years, Joan Hamilton, children, Angela (Darrell) Woods of Grand Bay, Jenny (Brett) Cronier of Escatawpa, MS, William Hamilton of Grand Bay and Makayla Hood of Grand Bay, mother, Lenora Hamilton of Grand Bay, sister, Linda Mason of Grand Bay, brothers, Steve (Doreen) Hamilton of Folsom, CA and Anthony Hamilton of Grand Bay, step children, Jerry Wayne Hood of Jemison, AL and Charlotte (David) Rogers of Magee, MS, 12 grandchildren, many nieces and nephew that he loved very much, other relatives and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 from 5 pm until 7 pm. Funeral service will be held in the chapel at Serenity on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at 10 am. Interment will be in W.R. Clark Cemetery.
