I am so sorry for your loss. I had the pleasure of meeting Mrs Whipple when I moved my mother to the Blair House. She was an inspiration to all. I so enjoyed conversations with her before she became so ill. She will truly be missed.

Thank you Mrs Elinor for all your great work.Thank you for taking me by the hand to the scout hut as a 10 year old shy boy to join the Cub Scouts which began a liftime association as to all phases of Scouting for over 50 years thereafter.
Allen, Lane, Laura and Linda, What a beautiful service on Monday for a beautiful, southern lady. Your mother was a gracious lady in so many ways and I am so thankful our paths crossed over the years. You have so many wonderful memories to keep in your hearts. Love, Joyce Ragan Wilder
Allen, Lane, and, Laura,I was sorry to read about Mrs. Elinor's death when I returned from Atlanta Sunday. I read Ed Grisamore's article about her. She and my mom went to Cochran High together although not classmates. I remember when she lived at Autumn Terrace with my mother-in-law, Ivagene Mullinix. I was sorry I missed the funeral, but my thoughts and prayers are with you in your grief. She was a very special lady.
Lane, Laura and Allen, just wanted to drop a note and let you know how much I thought of your mom. Mrs. Elinor was truly a very special lady and loved by so many. You were very fortunate to have her as your mother. You all will be in my thoughts and prayers.
I was sadned to read about Mrs. Whipple. Praying for peace and comfort for the family. On a good note, Ma Ma, Maida Ragan is once againg ensuring Mrs. Whipple is taken care of. God is good!!
Mrs. Whipple was a great lady. During the times I spent with her doing her hair or nails she always was a lady in every way. Never heard he say an unkind word about anyone and helped me to help my son with speech with her wisdom. I learned a lot from her and she gave me a lot more than anyone can know. I am deeply saddened to read about her passing but heaven has a true angel.
Lane, Laura and Allen, Was so sorry to hear of your mother's passing! She was such a special lady and I have many memories of her over many many years that I will cherish. I am especially grateful that she and my mom ended up next to each other at Autumn Terrace for several years, and were able to continue their friendship there. Love and miss you all and you are in my thoughts and prayers.
We missed having Eleanor at the Class of 1945 Reunion in Hawkinsville last Thursday. Each of us enjoyed reading about her in Ed Grismore's column. We'll miss her more now. Wallace Williams Pres. Class of 1945 Cochran High School
