Elder Robert James Robinson Sr.'s Obituary
Elder Robinson was born on April 23, 1935 and departed this life on March 18, 2014. He was a resident of Mobile, Alabama, and a native of Sunflower, Alabama. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lev Robinson and Lucy Norwood Robinson, his brother, Nathan Robinson, and his aunts, Lucresia Turner and Angeline Goodwin. He is survived by his devoted wife, Bertha Melvina Robinson, his three sons, Robert James Robinson, Jr., Dwayne Robinson, and Richard Robinson, four grandchildren, Dewayne Pugh, Derrick Robinson, Daryl Robinson, and Robert Robinson, III, his mother-in-law, Bertha McGadney, three sisters-in-law, Bettye Bivins, Elizabeth (Eddie) Miller Sr., and Linda Ervin, an aunt, Ludie Sanders, and a host of other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 29, 2014 from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service at Christ Temple Apostolic Church (801 Virginia Street). Interment immediately following at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Serenity Funeral Home.
