PERRY- Elbert Gene Voss, 85, passed away on Thursday, March 6, 2014, after an extended illness. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, March 9, 2014, at 2:00 p.m. at First Christian Church. Interment will be in Perry Memorial G Read Obituary
Sitting here on this beautiful day I just heard Mr. Voss has passed away. Words can not describe how much I thought of him .. His humor and never a dull moment . Him and my dad ( Buck) were friend from way back in their teens .. Always playing their music ..Gene ... Glenn. And Buck ..now they are all together again and playing their music for Jesus and his Angels ..My love goes out to Ann .. Her children...and grandchildren ..God bless you all .. You are all wonderful people

I am deeply saddened by the news of Mr Voss' passing. I have such fond memories throughout the years of his love & dedication to his family, generosity with everone he met & slap-stick humor that made everyone feel welcome. Unfortunately, I never had the pleasure of knowing Mr. Voss personally, but I have known his daughter, Laura, for a decade. He must have been a pretty amazing person to produce such a legacy.
