Edwin 'Buddy' Gooding's Obituary

Edwin "Buddy" Gooding, Jr. passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2013. Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13 at the First Baptist Church of Haynesville with interment in the church cemetery. A visitation will be held 6 - 8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Buddy was born in Old Town, Florida and was the son of the late Edwin and Esther Mae Gilley Gooding.
An excellent millwright and welder, he had worked for Tolleson Lumber Company and P P & G. Buddy traveled all over the United States and overseas working at his profession. He was a member of First Baptist of Haynesville and attended Abundant Grace Church. His passions were shooting and hunting.
Left to cherish him memory are his wife of 19 years, Lynn Y. Gooding; childen, Staci Simon, Morgan Smith, and Russell Gooding; siblings, Eugene Gooding (Diane), Susie Parker (Teddy), Nancy Brown (Fred) and Linda Mangum(George); three grandchildren, number of nieces and nephews.
