Edward Earl Goodson's Obituary
Born June 4, 1973 in Mobile, AL, departed this life June 14, 2014, having obtained the age of 41. He had made his profession of faith in our Lord Jesus Christ. Earl was a resident of Irvington. He worked on supply boats for 10 years and was a Captain of a supply boat in the Gulf of Mexico. Survived by his father, Bill Goodson, Irvington; mother and step-father, Judy and Ray Taylor, Greensburg, KY; brother, Rodney Goodson, Irvington; two sisters, Angela and husband, Gilbert Alvarado, Bulverde, TX and Yolanda Leigh Ramirez, Helotes, TX; three children, Michael William Goodson, Mobile and Vincent Earl Goodson, Mobile; one daughter, Angel and James Greer, Birmingham, AL; one grandchild, Lucy Greer, Birmingham, AL and a host of relatives and friends.Captain Earl, as he was affectionately known by family and friends, and his wife, Shae, were known for their "get togethers", seeing his family and friends happy brought him great joy.Services will be held at 12p.m, Thursday, June 19, at Pine Springs Baptist Church, Irvington. Burial will be at Oddfellows Cemetery, Bayou La Batre.The family will receive friends from 10-12, Thursday at Pine Springs Baptist Church, Irvington.Bro.
