Dear Ella Ann, Beth, Ed and Families, I am so sorry to learn of Ed passing. My thoughts and prayers are with each of you. Love, Jackie Klein
Condolences to Ella Ann and the entire Beckham family. He had to be a very smart man to graduate with a degree from Georgia Tech, and to marry a well-bred and sweet woman
like Ella Ann. My prayers are with the entire family. Marilyn Goodroe
My husband, Malcolm Crook, graduated with Ed and was very fond of him. So sorry for your loss. Malcolm was just two days older than Ed. Malcolm passed away on April 6 of this year. Your family will be in my thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
Having lived in the middle Georgia area all of our lives we had always "known of" the Beckham family; however, we really got to know Mr. Ed and Mr. Billy personally back in the mid-1990s when we purchased the BP station in Byron. These two fine gentlemen helped us remodel the station and gave us plenty of good advice on the gas business. We purchased our fuel form them for as long as we owned the business. Mr. Ed would come around to "check on things" weekly as he said but would end up staying for sometimes an hour or so just visiting with us. We looked forward to seeing him and hearing of the many stories of the Beckham Brothers business. He loved to laugh and loved a good business deal! He will be greatly missed by so many people. Our prayers are with the entire Beckham family.

God bless this family that I have great love and respect for, and for whom I am so thankful. When I think of Mr. Ed, I think of someone who was funny and fun and was a good friend to my dad. It's so bitter sweet to have these memories. Love to you all forever.
So sorry to hear about Mr. Ed. Praying for the family in this difficult time.
Mr. Ed became a friend when he started attending physical therapy a few years back. After he completed his therapy he started coming by to check on us daily. Some days he would beat us to the office and ask why we were late, he just got there before we opened. We started calling him the boss man and he took it seriously. He became the greeter and would talk to everyone than came in the door. If he wasn't there everyone asked where he was. We loved having him around and have missed having him come check on us. He will forever hold a special place in our hearts.

I extend my deepest sympathy to the Beckham family on the passing of Ed. I became his neighbor when my family moved from Fort Valley to live nextdoor to his family when I was a toddler. Neither he nor I ever left the neighborhood. He always had a smile and a friendly wave for me, and I will miss his greetings. Peace to his spirit.
We are so sorry for your loss. He was a very special man . Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family❤️
