EDGAR SEYMORE SMITH's Obituary

Edgar Seymore Smith, 79, passed away on Tuesday, April 5, 2022. Graveside Services will be held on Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens with Reverend Lewis Kiger officiating.
Edgar was born in Montezuma to Seymore and Mary Lou Harpe Smith. He was a mechanic at Kellwood Company for more than twenty years until it closed in 1996. He lost his identical twin brother, Ernest, in January of 2021. They were always together. They worked together, lived together and enjoyed the same things. Edgar and Ernest always enjoyed drag racing, both watching and participating. He will be missed by his friends, his drag racing family, and his cousins. Edgar attended Memorial Heights Baptist Church.
Edgar was preceded in death by his parents and his twin brother.
