Earl Jackson Bowen's Obituary
PERRY-
Earl Jackson Bowen, 72, passed away on Sunday, December 9, 2012, after a brief illness. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at 2:00 p.m. at Friendship Baptist Church in Warner Robins with Reverend Paul Cowles officiating. Interment will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 11, 2012, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Donations may be made to Friendship Baptist Church Building Fund, 1322 Feagin Mill Road, Warner Robins, GA 31088.
Mr. Bowen was born in Jacksonville, GA, to the late W.E. and Betty Little Bowen. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Army. Mr. Bowen graduated from Georgia College with a Bachelor of Business Administration. He retired from The Bibb Company after 20 years of service there. He was a member of the Mickey Fuller Masonic Lodge in Byron for 50 years. Mr. Bowen was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, where he taught the Mellette Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Melanie Bowen Brown; his son, Gregory Earl Bowen; and a brother, Lucious Bowen.
Left to cherish the memories are his beloved wife of over 26 years, Jeanine Wilson Bowen of Perry; his children, Debbie Bowen Carroll of White House, TN, Angie Moody (Ron) of Perry, and Eddie Nichols (Deborah) of Luthersville, GA; his brother, Roger Bowen (Etta) of Eatonton; his grandchildren, Jessica Brown, David Brown, Colton Brown, Taylor Moody, Nick Moody, Zach Byrd, Amy Dudley (Patrick), and Lee Thomas (Brandi); and several nieces and nephews.
