Dorothy Moore Phillips' Obituary
Age 86, a resident of Mobile, AL passed away at her home on Monday, September 19, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Myrtle Brackett, brother, Richard Brackett, sister, Nell Marie Moore, husband and father of children, Arnold H. Moore. She is survived by her children, Jeanette (Wayne) Taylor, Arnold "Ray" Moore, Myrtle "Theo" (Nathan) Black, Rachel (Dickey) Smith, Wayne (Rene) Moore, Judy (Ronnie) Golden, and Garry Moore, 18 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren, siblings, Jean Weninegar, Grace Edmond, and Millie Alexander, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was a longtime member of Dayspring Baptist Church. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, September 22, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation from 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Active Pallbearers are Chris Taylor, Brent Black, Jason Black, Jay Black, Wesley Golden and Chase Golden. Honorary Pallbearers are Scott Smith, Michael Moore, Joey Faulk, Sammy Moore, Wayne Gautney, Adam Yrabedra, Gene Solomon, Josh Stovall and Tomas Padilla.
