Doris Spell Clark's Obituary

Doris Spell Clark, 91, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, March 25, 2013. A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at Perry Memorial Gardens. The family will visit with friends immediately following the service at the cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to Friends of Perry Animal Shelter, P. O. Box 2001, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mrs. Clark was born in Newton Falls, Ohio. She married the love of her life, Lawrence R. Clark, on March 15, 1944. A successful business woman, Mrs. Clark was also a talented artist. A devout Christian, she spent many years teaching teen Sunday School classes and directing Vacation Bible School during the summers. Mrs. Clark was a member of Perry United Methodist Church and attended Perry Presbyterian Church. She loved her family pets. Mrs. Clark was preceded in death by her loving husband of 58 years, Lawrence R. Clark; a son, Lawrence R. "Larry" Clark II; and a grandson, Curtis Nelson.
She will be greatly missed by her children, Tricia Nelson of Perry, Tom Clark (Angie) of LaGrange, and Tim Clark of Perry; her grandchildren, Shawnah, Neal, Amy, and Ansley; her great-grandchildren, Taryn, Mitchell, Myles, Blakely, and Sarah; and her great-great grandchild, Curtis.
