So sorry Skeet and family. She was a special lady.
Skeet and family,What a wonderful woman your mother was. From my first grade class with her, I knew she would be an important role model and she certainly did not disappoint.I will keep you and your family in my thoughts and prayers in your loss.
Mrs Hulbert was my first grade teacher. I adored her then and continued to love talking to her when I would see her around town .She was a kind, gentle soul who will be missed by many. My thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time. I didnt find out about her passing until Wednesday or I wouldve certainly attended the service. I never saw her lose control of her class or herself, and I can remember a time that she certainlyshould have been very upset with me, but was extremely kind in the small reprimand. (This, of course was as a first grader). Rest in Peace
Skeet & Family. I am sorry to learn of the passing of your Mother. I have fond memories of her Peace be with you.
Skeet, am so sad for the pain you feel in the loss of your mother. Mrs. Hulbert and Mother were neighbors for over 50 years. I trust they have gotten up a group of bridge players. Had never heard about the Hokey Pokey reprimand. One morning I was visiting Mother at Arbor Terrace in Athens, and the staff was playing the song "Hokey Pokey." Interesting, how that song has survived many generations. Hearing Hokey Pokey will now always bring a smile to my face. Please give Jane a hug and kiss for me. How much I dread next weekend having to experience what you experienced this past week. Mrs. Hulbert was a beautiful lady and bright spirit. Eleanor Circle and Duncan Avenue have lost two of Perry's grande dames. I know she is happy seeing Mr Hulbert and Billy once again. Take good care of yourself. Love, Judy
Skeet, Jodi and the entire family--It has been my pleasure to visit with Mrs. Hulbert these last few years at Summerhill. She and I enjoyed talking about fond memories, both people and events. We particularly remembered Wednesdays in the summer at Perry Country Club with our Mothers playing golf or bridge and us children swimming. What great picnic lunches we had! I will miss her, too. My love and prayers are with you all. Barbi Purdom Flournoy
It was my privilege to know Miss Doris for the past 28 years. She gave your family a great heritage to remember and look up to. Love
Dear Skeet & family, we loved Doris, she was a delightful person. Our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Skeet & family, I will miss visiting with Ms. Doris at Summerhill. She will certainly be missed by many folks. It was a pleasure getting to help your Mom at The Bank of Perry. May God be with you all in a special way and give you comfort knowing she is in a better place. Gloria & Tommy Sikes, Perry, Georgia
