Donna Juanita Vesper McRoy's Obituary
Donna Juanita Vesper McRoy, age 77, a lifelong resident of Bayou La Batre, AL passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2015. She was a retired Postmaster, Charter Member Bayou La Batre-Coden Historical Foundation and longtime member of Coden United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur “Flat” McRoy Sr. She is survived by her children, Colleen Harrison, Sherri Lingle, Arthur “Buddy” McRoy Jr., Robert Dayton McRoy, grandchildren, Colt Roberts, Marc Lingle, Rachel Harrison, Hannah Harrison, Wesley McRoy, great grandchildren, Joeli Roberts, Cody Roberts, Austin Lingle, youngest sister raised like her daughter, Vera Bosarge, siblings, Troy Vesper, David Vesper, Diane Richardson, Danny Vesper, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. In lieu of flowers make donations to Bayou La Batre-Coden Historical Foundation or Coden United Methodist Church. Funeral service will be held at Coden United Methodist Church on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 12 noon with visitation starting at 10:30 am until service time. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery.
