Donieze Higgs' Obituary
HOUMA, LA-
Donieze Madelynne "Skeeter" Gidney Higgs, 42, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 8, 2015, at her home. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 15, 2015, at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, GA. Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, also in Perry. The family will visit with friends on Friday, August 14, 2015, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home.
Donieze was born in Warner Robins, Georgia, and graduated from Dooly County High School. She received an Associate Degree from Middle Georgia Technical College. Donieze was a Teller Supervisor, having worked her way up from a Teller, at Capital One Bank in Houma, Louisiana. She was preceded in death by her parents, Donald B. Gidney, Sr. and Carol Elaine Arnold Gidney.
Left to cherish the memories of Donieze are her daughter, Carolyn Nicole "Nikki" Higgs; her son, Byron Arthur Higgs; her grandson, Dylan Gerald Higgs; her siblings, Debra C. Naquin (Danny), Donita Davis (Davy), Bo Gidney (Tori), Donna Gidney, and Cap Arnold Gidney; her aunt, Lonieze Williams (Bubba); and her fiancee, Don Billiot.
