Donald Gene Hendricks' Obituary
Donald Gene Hendricks, age 80, a lifelong resident of Theodore, AL passed away on Monday, April 21, 2014. He served in the United States Army from 1953-1961 as Military Police. He was a member of the American Legion Post #250 out of Fowl River, AL and retired from the city of Bayou La Batre. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty June Hendricks. He is survived by his sons, Gene Hendricks and Jimmy (Rita) Carley, grandchildren, Maranda Buzier, Miranda (Jacob) Windham, Damien (Kara) Dykes, great-grandchildren, Aidan Tyson, Camden Windham, Haiden Dykes, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Thursday, April 24, 2014 at 2 pm with visitation starting from 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
