Mr Donald Roe Davis' Obituary
Donald Roe Davis, age 68, a native and life long resident of Mobile County, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, May 23, 2014. He was a veteran of the US Army serving in Vietnam from 1966-1967 and retired from Mobile County Public School System division after more than 20 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Loretta Griffin Davis, 3 daughters, Tracy (Mike) Cantrell, Melissa Bankston, Tiffany (Chris) Fosnight, 1 son, Donald (Crystal) Davis, Jr., 1 sister, Barbara Showles, 8 grandchildren, nieces, other relatives and many friends. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Serenity Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 10 am with Rev. David Edwards officiating. Pallbearers were Roy Smith, Shane Smith, Christopher Smith, Larry Bohannon, Christopher Fosnight, and Donald Davis, Jr. Interment with full military honors was in Serenity Memorial Gardens.Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
