Don Ferris Cocharan's Obituary
Don Ferris Cochran, 80 years old of Semmes, AL, passed away at home on Friday, October 21, 2016 surrounded by his family. Mr. Cochran was a member of the BEP program for the blind for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents Andrew Joseph and Verna Cochran. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Janneane Hope Cochran, his son John Cochran, his three daughters Karen Cochran, Kathy (Mitchell) Backlin, Jennifer (Daryl) Miller, five grandchildren, Mitchell Backlin II, Rachael (Jody) Powell, Tracy (Rachel) Backlin, Alexander Cochran, Rayna Adcock, and one great grandson, Blake Cochran, many friends and one special friend Brian Roberts. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 from 11 am until 12 noon. Graveside service will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens on Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at 12 noon. In leu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to a charity of your choice.
