Dominique Joenez McGhee's Obituary
KATHLEEN- Dominique McGhee, 23, died on Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 31, 2018, from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2018, at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Perry. Burial will be in Perry Memorial Gardens immediately following the service. Dominique was born in Macon and grew up in Kathleen. A hard-worker, he worked at Graphic Packaging in Perry. He was always busy and enjoyed cooking and especially loved reading. Dominique enjoyed volunteering at several local organizations including the Friends of the Library annual book sale at Georgia National Fairgrounds. He liked helping carry boxes of books to cars for shoppers, and he just loved browsing all of the books there. Dominique had a great sense of humor and loved his family. He loved animals, especially his faithful beagle, Winston. Left to cherish the memories they made with Dominique are his mother, Dana Sears (Samuel Thompson) of Kathleen; his father, Paul Rickous McGhee of Perry; his brother, Dalton Sears of Kathleen; his brother and sister, Elijah and Victoria McGhee of Warner Robins; his maternal grandmother, Denise Shuman (Bryan) of Lexington, SC; his maternal grandfather, Jimmy McCuan of Perry; his paternal grandmother, Evelyn Lane; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
