Dianne had the most beautiful voice. I loved singing next to her in choir. She always had a smile on her face. She had a very infectious laugh. The most amazing thing she did for us is to give us Daisy. She will truly be missed.

A tremendous “Thank You “ to everyone! My Mom was a unique being....she made life wondrous, unique, and fun! She and my dad loved me more than I thought possible...so my goal is to spread that love to all I know....I’ve been taught by the best!
Our condolences to Ms Dianne's family. We were blessed to know her and knew from day one she was a loving, kind, fun and joyous woman. We will miss her infectious smile.

I will always remember Dianne running around downtown Perry in that little white mail truck.... she always had a beautiful smile, and a cheerful hello for everyone she met. But what I will remember most are her beautiful blue eyes, her charming personality, and her true southern humor and wit. To her family: treasure all of your wonderful memories, and take comfort in the many prayers for all of you. Jane Collier
I met Dianne Scruggs when I was 21 years old. I was dating her daughter Sandy... we later got married and she was my mother in law for over twenty years. She was fun, vibrant, full of life and she raised strong women and girls. I loved her very much and she filled the spot left open when my mother died when I was just 22 years old. I haven’t seen her in years, but I always felt close, especially through my daughter Ansley.
I am so sorry for the friends and family who were closest to her... impossible not to miss her humor and wit. My heart is broken for You Sandy, Ansley, Char, Sara, Hannah and Barb.
She was such a wonderful person, always welcoming and always smiling! Sandy and Char I am so sorry for your loss, your mother was a beautiful person.
My deepest condolences to Dianne’s family and friends. I spent years with Dianne working at the Perry Post Office. I shared many laughs and talks with her. She was always ready to lend her ear to me. So very sorry for your loss. With deepest regret, Carol Prior
We met her when we first moved to Perry over 30 years ago. She was our mail lady, our church friend and we had many fun times together with Perry Players. We have a hilarious memory of her on roller skates during one play! Oh how I enjoyed choir and our little Crossroads singing group with Dianne. She always brightened things up and made us laugh. Char and Sandy, she was special to us and one of a kind. Our sincerest sympathy. We sure loved her and we will miss her always. Vicki and Bill Andrews
Diane was one of the first people I met when doing costumes for The Music Man at Perry Players. She will was such fun to work with and will be deeply missed.
