Desie A. Heacock's Obituary
Desie Heacock, age 72, a longtime resident of Grand Bay, AL passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014. She was a past member of Mobile County EMS as volunteer EMT and the Theodore Fire Department. She was preceded in death by her mother, Lucy O. Bauer “Nana”, grandsons, Alvin Bosarge Jr. and Joshua Gene Heacock, son-in-law, Kenneth Douglas Hughes. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Alfred Gene Heacock Sr., children, Ingrid (Matthew) Patrick, Belle (Kenneth) Hughes, Alfred Gene (Donna) Heacock Jr., Kenneth Andrew (Stephanie) Heacock, grandchildren, Gaynelle, Cory, Joanie, Maggie, Alfred, Kay, Kevin, Lex, Zackry, 5 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Friday, March 28, 2014 from 5 pm until 8 pm. Funeral service will be held from the chapel of Serenity on Saturday, March 29, 2014 at 12 noon. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens. Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL.
