DEBRA KAY KIRKSEY's Obituary
ROBERTA, GA –
Debra Kay Vanderburg Kirksey, 71, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, at her home. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, October 19, 2023, at 4:30 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home, Perry, Georgia.
Debra was born January 31, 1952, in Albemarle, NC to parents, William Harlan Vanderburg and Annie Noveleen Calloway. Debra resided most of her life in Houston County and was a houseparent for Happy Hour for over fifty years.
She was predeceased by her parents and grandson Michael Andy Groberg.
Left to cherish her memory are her sister, Carol Smith, of Clute, Texas; her children, Lori Gordon, of Roberta, Ga; Michael Bracewell of Perry, GA, Matthew Bracewell, Centerville, GA, and Mark Bracewell of Warner Robins, GA; grandchildren, Jesse, Gabriel, Kali, Azriel, Trisstan, Jennifer, Andrew, Austin, Ayden, Landon, Dax, and Evan; great-grandchild, Blakelee Bracewell, and niece Amy Koziol, and many other loved nieces and nephews.
