DEBBIE McPHAIL SEIDENFADEN's Obituary
ELKO –
Debora “Debbie” McPhail Seidenfaden, 60, died on Sunday, February 7, 2021. Services will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests memorial contributions to benefit women and their children, especially survivors of domestic abuse, by donating to ABBA House Middle Georgia, 2089B US Hwy 41 S, Perry, GA 31069.
Debbie was born in Charleston, West Virginia, to the late William and Peggy Kincaid McPhail. She lived in various locations in Florida, including Hollywood, Satellite Beach, and Ft. Myers. Debbie loved being outside, soaking up sunshine, and spending time on the shores of the ocean. Cocoa Beach, Florida, was her favorite place to visit and enjoy. Debbie moved to the Perry Area fourteen years ago, and soon found herself driving a school bus for the students of Houston County School System. She loved children and delighted in driving a school bus, protecting and transporting children to and from school and on field trips. She was a caring and nurturing bus driver who always encouraged the students to stay in school, follow the rules, and always do their best. She loved her family and treasured time spent with them. She was the most wonderful Mom, Meme, sister, cousin, and best friend a person could ask for. Having a great sense of humor and a joyous laugh, she was such a fun person to be with. For her indoor activities, Debbie enjoyed crocheting and watching Christmas movies all year long.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Debbie are her daughter, Jennifer McPhail, and her granddaughter, Jessica Dowd, both of Sevierville, Tennesee; her brother, Billy McPhail (Susie) of Mentor on the Lake, Ohio; her sister, Elizabeth Beavers of Perry, Florida; several cousins; and other extended family members.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law, Larry Beavers.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
