David Warren Hawk's Obituary
PERRY-
David Warren Hawk, 86, passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014. A Graveside Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, December 5, 2014, at Perry Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Hawk was born in Lucasville, Ohio to the late Ashby P. and Bessie Spriggs Hawk. He proudly served our country in the U. S. Air Force during the Korean War. Mr. Hawk moved to Perry from Dayton, Ohio in 1962. He worked in Civil Service at Robins Air Force Base in Procurement for Electronic Warfare and retired after 36 years of service. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Perry and the American Legion. In his spare time, Mr. Hawk enjoyed playing golf. He was preceded in death by a son, Dale E. Hawk.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Hawk are his beloved wife of over 61 years, Vivian Hawk of Perry; his son and daughter-in-law, David E. and Nancy Hawk of Perry; his siblings, Gerald Hawk, Charles Hawk, Hilda Hinton, Donald Hawk, Gordon Hawk, Roger Hawk, Eugene Hawk, Catherine Metzer, and Richard Hawk, Preston Hawk (Rachel), Walter Hawk (Mary), Robert Hawk, Margaret Hawk, Mary Ann Wehrman (Lou), and Marcella Ware (Thomas); 9 grandchildren, Jeffery Hawk (Denise), James Hawk (Amber), Carolyn Barber (Eddie), Vivian Tubbs (Chris), Alyssa Foister (Brandon), Andrea Howell (Josh), Brooke Whitlock (Timothy), Devon Hawk, and Chance Hawk; 10 great-grandchildren; and many, many nieces and nephews.
