David Russell Johnson's Obituary
Jan. 7, 1955 - Apr. 6, 2016 David Russell Johnson, 61, was called home in the early hours of April 6, 2016. David, a lifelong resident of the Tillman's Corner area, was a member of IBEW local #505, and worked at REMCO Industrial Piping Materials, Inc. in Saraland, AL for 28 years. David, a loving husband, father, grandfather and friend to all, was dearly loved by everyone that knew him and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father, Ausie Russell Johnson; mother Sara A. Johnson and step-father, V. Ralph Johnson. He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Sheila Brown Johnson; children Stacey Walley, Shannon (Clinton) Cochran, Kenny (Heather) Johnson; grandchildren Allison, Courtney, Caitlyn and Douglas Walley; Dylan Cochran; Natalie and Harrison Johnson; sister Louise (Marvin) Radcliff as well as many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. A special thank you as well to all the health care professionals that helped in David's care over the past few years. Visitation will be held at Serenity Funeral Home Sunday, April 10, 2016 from 12:00pm - 2:00pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home chapel Sunday at 2:00pm with interment to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens.
