David L. Brown's Obituary
WARNER ROBINS-
David L. Brown, 82, passed away on Monday, February 11, 2013, after a brief illness. Funeral Services will be private. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry. In lieu of flower, the family respectfully suggests contributions to Crossroads United Methodist Church, 1600 Main Street, Perry, Georgia 31069.
Mr. Brown was born in McDermott, Ohio, to the late Russell and Grace Cook Brown. He graduated from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, and also became a Registered Professional Engineer. He retired from Goodyear Aerospace in 1990, and was called to Georgia to work at various engineering jobs at Robins Air Force Base. Mr. Brown was currently employed with Quantum Engineering Support. He was a member of Crossroads United Methodist Church in Perry.
Left to cherish his memories are his loving, devoted wife of 51 years, Lillian Propst Brown, of Warner Robins; two sons, Steve Brown (Von) of Ogden, Utah, and Kevin Brown (Julie) of Lantana, Florida; one step-son, David D. Monroe of Dublin, Georgia; one grandson, Cory Brown; and a host of relatives and friends that loved him.
