Darryl Tyson's Obituary
MORGANTON- Darryl Tyson, 55, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 26, 2018, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Visitation will be held on Sunday, April 29, 2018, at 3:00 p.m. at Cross Point Baptist Church in Perry with the Funeral Service immediately following at 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private. Darryl was born in Albany. He graduated from Macon County High School. Darryl has been employed with Blue Bird in Ft. Valley for 30 years. He loved being with his family and friends, playing his guitar, and fishing. A selfless man with a servant’s heart, Darryl was the definition of sacrifice – always giving to others in need, whether he knew them or not. He had a great sense of humor and was never at a loss for words. He always worked hard so that he could love hard, and love his family, he did. He was preceded in death by his father, Earl Tyson. Left to cherish the memories they made with Darryl are his loving and devoted wife of 30 years, Bonnie Barron Tyson of Morganton; his children, Kalin Tyson of Morganton, Kyndal Aiken (Kenton) of Kennesaw, and Kasey Tyson of Blue Ridge; his mother, Dorothy Tyson of Ft. Valley; his sisters, Wanda Rowell (Benny) of Ft. Valley, Donna Oliver (Mike) of Ellaville, Terri Brand (Sandy) of Butler, and Misty Tyson of Lapta, Cyprus; and several nieces and nephews. Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
