Dale Truman Newhart's Obituary
Dale Truman Newhart, 78, passed away on Thursday, July 2, 2015. A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015, at 3:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. Interment will be in Delaware Water Gap Cemetery in Pennsylvania.
Mr. Newhart was born in Monroe County, Pennsylvania. He proudly served our country for 4 years in the U.S. Air Force. He was a Purchasing Agent for IBM for 27 years. With his family, he spent 32 years in New York before retiring and moving to Bonita Springs, Florida, where they lived for 11 years. In 2005, Mr. Newhart and his wife, Carol, settled in Perry. He was a member of Perry United Methodist Church. Through the years, he volunteered for various organizations, most recently, the Warner Robins Museum of Aviation. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willard and Lillian Williams Kitchen.
Left to cherish the memories of Mr. Newhart are his beloved wife, Carol Newhart of Perry, Georgia; his children, Dale Newhart of Monument, Colorado, and Tom Newhart (Christine) of Roswell, Georgia; his sister, Linda Kniolek of Austin, Texas; his grandchildren, Alexa, Rachael, Elizabeth, and Christian; and several nieces and nephews.
