Cornelius Square's Obituary
Cornelius Square, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, April 29, 2014. He leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife-Catherine Square. Five children: Cornelius Square Jr., Paul (Delaine) Square, Jean (Joe) Garrett, Monica (David) Smith, LeNise Whitfield. Two step-children: Evelyn Gilchrist and Clifton (Teresa) Gilchrist. Three brothers: Robert (Loretta) Lewis, Ike Square Sr. and Melvin (Henrietta) Square, Seven sisters: Willie Mae Butts, Perry (Matthew) Wills and Louise (Cornelius) Torrence, Mattie Robinson, Pastor Veronica Gwinn and Minister Vera Jackson and Rosie Marie Ross. A number of grands, great-grands and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held at Friendship Primitive Baptist Church on Wednesday, May 7, 2014 at 11 am with visitation starting from 9 am until service time. Interment will be in Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
