Megan,
Just read about where your Dad passed away. I remember him from your soccer games along with your Mom. I also remember asking about him the last time I saw you. Sorry for your loss.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the family in their time of sorrow. We are thinking of them and wishing them strength in the days ahead.
I've known Richard for over 50 years. We met in 1966-67, when I was a freshman at Nazareth Academy, and my future husband Jim was at Aquinas. The 3 of us lived in Webster. Rich was often the 3rd wheel on our dates, and eventually Jim & I decided he needed a girlfriend. So, we introduced him to my Nazareth classmate Linda Thompson, and the rest is history. We were married 2 weeks apart in 1973, just before Rich went off to begin his highly successful military career. The 4 of us formed a life-long bond.
He was my husband's best friend, and my best friend's husband.
I have a lifetime of memories that I will always cherish, of a man with a great smile, "get 'er done" attitude, and generous heart. I'll miss your wise, loving guidance, and our long talks. It doesn't seem possible that you are gone, but I know you and Linda...and Jim are together once again. Rest in peace my friend, knowing the many grateful lives you have touched, and the legacy you leave behind.
I'll love you forever...always have...always will.
Godspeed Sir.
You were one of the best Commanders that I ever got to serve !
It was an Honor!
M. Keith
Random moments of tears as I remember inspirational talks we've had in the past, memories of hosing down soapy volvos, and sleeping in their old pullout bed creep in and out of my head . As a kid, playing with the oversized glass marble Chinese checker set that they had, always fascinated me with how colorful some of the marbles were. Uncle Rich took us on really cool walks and tours through the airforce bases where he was stationed at, and my brother and I never realy understood the authority and respect that he commanded. He would occasionally let us fly his expensive model planes knowing that we could accidentally break them at any moment. He gave us all tough love when we needed it, but always had something wise to say whether it made sense at that moment or not. He really did try to do the best he could for us, and for that I'll always be gratefull. We will forever miss him, but will always cherish the memories and the positive impact that he's had on us.
Megan, we are keeping you and your family in our prayers. May God Bless You.

I fondly remember Rich as a vital part of our Lockheed Martin Integrated Logistics Team supporting the service that he loved, the United States Air Force. Rich was a committed professional with one of kindest hearts I know. I know and share the family pain as he went too soon. Rest assured he is with the love of his life and the good Lord. RIP my friend.
It was with deep sorrow that we learnt about Richard's passing. His effervescent personality and kind-heartedness will always be remembered. Please accept our prayers and heartfelt condolences during this difficult time.
