Clifton R. Driver, 59, passed away on Saturday, April 12, 2014 at the Houston Medical Center after an extened illness. Funeral Services will be held at 7:00 p.m on Tuesday, April 15 at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home. A visitation will be held from 5 - 7 p.m. at the funeral home before the service. Interment will be private. The family suggests contributions to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, 230 East Ohio Street, Suite 304, Chicago, IL. 60611.
Mr. Driver was born in Columbus, Georgia and was the son of the late Gilbert Clifton Driver.
He had resided in Elko for 17 years. A graduate of Georgia Tech, Mr. Driver was vice president of operations for SSAI for over 20 years in Warner Robins.
He loved to travel, and handle electrical and carpentry situations at home.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Driver of Elko; children, Amanda Coody (Jordan) of Eastman and Alex Driver of Warner Robins; mother, Beryl Driver of Charleston, S.C.; two grandchidren, Abbie Coody and Ava Coody; siblings, Karen Stokes (Randy) of Charleston, S.C. and Nancy Driver of Seattle, Washington.
