When Cleo and her husband moved to Jacksonville, Florida, she worked for the Internal Revenue Service. The couple moved to Perry in 1988, where she would live out her days. Left to cherish the memories of Cleo are her children, Mary E. Swords (Robert Wilson) and Charles Patterson (Martha); her brother, John Jones; eleven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; her niece, Alice Miller (Charlie), and many other nieces, nephews, and people who lovingly referred to her as “Aunt Cleo”; and Jamie Taylor (Lawrence) whom Cleo treated as a daughter, and her family.
