Cindy was a special lady who always welcomed me with a smile and a hug. My prayers go out to Cindy's family and friends.
Not too long ago, I looked back in my high school yearbook and read a quote from a classmate that I vividly remembered today, as I read my sister-in-law's obituary from Watson Hunt. That quote is: "Stay as my North Star for all of eternity". Cindy always embraced life with gentleness, yet tenacity, and possessed a "true grit" when she decided to undertake the many jobs that she performed each day with grace and humor and style..... I read that the "North Star" does not move, but appears to be fixed in its wonderful position in the heavens.....So, Sweet Sister, I will search for you each night as I gaze heavenward. FLY HIGH..... You will always be "MY NORTH STAR" I love you, Jane Collier
If ever there were a person of which it could be said “ everybody loved her and she loved everybody” Cindy was this lady .. her bright smile and jovial personality was always there to brighten the day .. always!
My thoughts and prayers continue for Cindy’s family and friends, who are many .. a legacy of faith, hope, and love🙏❤️
Love and prayers for those left behind until we have a wonderful reunion in Heaven with our loved ones and our Savior. I know the Lord said to her, "well done good and faithful servant" when she entered His presence. She was an amazing and talented woman who loved her family and friends and had great compassion for all people and loved the Lord. I have wonderful memories of us when we started Carrie Lynn's and our time together at Houston Lake Baptist Church back in the day. One of my favorite memories is of her leading the kids through the church yelling "unclean" as they were posing as Lepers with oatmeal pasted rubbed all over their arms and faces.
Gosh I grew up with Cindy, she was always a friend even after I moved away from Perry. All the memories of the fun we had thru the years. Bennie you are in my prayers as well as the kids and grandkids.
I will always remember the times we text, emailed and talked on the phone, it didn't start off easy because we had 3 common denominators "our"sons, she without hesitation with the guidance of our heavenly father took them in and raised them in a Godly loving home.. I will forever be greatful to her and Bennie and will always remember she was truly the best thing that ever happened to them and I feel blessed I had the honor of knowing her and that she new me for my true self, not what was on paper.. I send my condolences to the family and friends of this amazing women who now is in the arms of our heavenly father. She taught me to forgive even if I felt I couldn't, and she felt in God's time our prayers would be answered..
Fly high in the heavens Cindy Collier, and one day we will meet again in light and love...
Sincerely,
Eileen Ann Lewis
