CHARLES WALLACE WAINWRIGHT's Obituary
PERRY-
Charles Wallace Wainwright, 72, passed away on December 25, 2025, with his loving family by his side. A memorial service will be held at Parkway Assembly of God in Macon at a later date to honor his life and legacy. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 1160 Forsyth Street, Macon GA 31201, an organization Charles deeply supported.
Charles was born on March 3, 1953, in Macon, Georgia, to the late Paul Wainwright and Riska Wainwright Linder. Charles was a devoted husband, father, and friend who lived a life marked by hard work and dedication to his loved ones. Charles spent his career at the Houston Home Journal in the print shop and was also known for his skills in landscaping and pressure washing, where he worked for his friend, Leon Jackson. He was a "Jack of all Trades" whose work ethic was only surpassed by his commitment to his family. Charles found peace and purpose through a rekindled relationship with God and was saved during his stay at Summerhill Nursing Home.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Paul Wainwright and Riska Ranow-Linder, and his stepfather, Arthur Linder, Jr.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Charles are his loving wife of 44 years, Lois Virginia “Jenny” Wainwright; daughters, Heather Wainwright of Macon, GA, April Wainwright of Perry, GA, and Crystal Lancaster of Macon, GA.
Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com. Watson-Hunt Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
