Charles Austin Jimerson's Obituary
Charles Austin Jimerson, age 79, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at home surrounded by loved ones. He was retired from the U.S. Navy and Ingall's Shipyard. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Levader Jimerson, sister, Dorothy DeLoach, wife, Darlene Jimerson, daughter, Diana Jimerson. He is survived by his wife, Glenda Jimerson of Grand Bay, AL, daughters, Donna (Pete) Karafa of Franklin, VA, Audra (Mike) Barlow of Zachary, LA and Sharon (Vince) Evans of Grand Bay, AL, sons, James Jimerson of Waverly, TN, Jim (Joyce) Darby of Heber Springs, AR, Sam Darby of Greenville, MS, sister, Jeanette Harvey of Glenwood, AR, 15 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, April 4, 2016 at 2 pm with visitation starting at 1 pm until service time. Interment will be in Oddfellow Cemetery. Pallbearers are Steven Lewis, Codi Lewis, Lucas Barbour, Zachary Barbour, James Jimerson and Vince Evans.
