Charles "Gary" Dillard's Obituary
Charles Gary Dillard, age 52, a lifelong resident of Mobile County, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, September 14, 2015. He was a member of Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God in Semmes, AL for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bennie B. Dillard and Eva Swindle Dillard, and a brother, Joe Marshall McGuff. He is survived by his wife Nancy Jones Dillard, children Melissa (Dan) Schmitz, Olivia (Thomas) Tew, Emily Dillard, and Nathaniel “Nate” Dillard, grandchildren Sabre Schmitz, Maddox Schmitz, and Monetha Schmitz, brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends. A visitation will be held Friday, September 18, 2015 from 5pm onward at Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God in Semmes. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11am at the church. Burial will take place in Serenity Memorial Gardens following services.
