Charles Evon Buckhalter's Obituary
Charles Buckhalter, age 65, a longtime resident of Mobile and known by many as “Buck” passed away at his home surrounded by his loving family on Monday, September 22, 2014. Charles worked for International Paper Company for 31 years and enjoyed spending his time with family and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Troy, mother, Ida-Belle, sister, Linda. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Lundy Buckhalter, children, Chad (Stephanie) Buckhalter, Christy (Stacey) Stokes, grandchildren, Jacob and Evan Buckhalter, Hunter and Halle Stokes, goddaughter, Aubrey Gorum, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service will be held at Grand Bay Church of God on Old Pascagoula Rd. at 2pm with visitation starting 12 noon until service time. Interment will be in Serenity Memorial Gardens.
