Life Legacy
WARNER ROBINS-Charles A. Boswell, III, 69, went Home to be with our Lord and Savior on Monday, April 3, 2017, after an extended illness. A Graveside Service to celebrate his Home-going will be held on Friday, April 7, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in Perry Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions be made in memory of Charles to the donor's favorite charity.A lifelong resident of Houston County, Charles was the son of the late Charles A. Boswell, Jr. and the late Mary King Boswell. He was a 1965 graduate of Perry High School. He proudly served our country in the US Navy, and was a corpsman during the Vietnam Conflict. Charles had a career as a Lab Analyst with Cemex, Inc., formerly Medusa, and retired after 39 years of service with them. He was a long-time member of the Boilermakers Union, and was elected to serve as the local President for 2 terms. He was a former member of the Perry Jaycees, for which he also served as President. He was a member of Southside Baptist Church and the Shining Lights Sunday School Class. He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Marianne Boswell Noblitt; and his brother-in-law, Ben Ussery.Left to cherish the memories of Charles are his loving and devoted wife of 34 years, Peggy P. Boswell of Warner Robins; his children, Charles A. Boswell, IV, (Amanda) of Pullman, WA, James L. Boswell, II (Season) of Ashland, VA, and Shamin M. Hampton (Brian), of Naples, FL; 8 grandchildren; his sister, Anita Ussery of Byron; 1 niece; and 1 nephew.Condolences for the family may be left in the online guestbook at www.watsonhunt.com.
