It’s hard to find the right words, how do you sum up memories in just a few lines. This photo shows how long we’ve known each other. I was her Joanna that’s what she called me. She had a great sense of humor I loved her laugh it reminded me of Betty and Wilma’s laugh from the Flintstones, and we laughed a lot. I had my first driving lesson at 12 in the front yard (on Lori lane) if you can call it that I hit the gas so fast, almost ran into the fence and as I jumped out of the car, mind you, it was still moving, Carol came and hugged me and Big George had to jump in the car to stop it. It was my first and last driving lesson, to this day I don’t believe my parents ever knew that story. I remember sitting in the kitchen drinking ice tea and she would light up a cigarette and then would share the lasted gossip , it was my second home. I have funny memories of conversations, of her and sissy talking and Carol getting on to her because of bad words sis would use, but then we would all laugh. I know Carol is in heaven and I like to think that she is sitting around the dinner table drinking coffee and talking with my parents and laughing. I Love you Carol and always will
