Carol Elaine Fisher's Obituary
Carol Elaine Fisher, age 79, a resident of Mobile, AL passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 after a brief illness. She was member of First Baptist Tillman's Corner where she sang in the choir and was a member of their senior group, Amazing Greys, ministering at various nursing homes and non-profit organizations locally and in neighboring states. Carol also volunteered annually at Festival of Flowers, RSVP Volunteers, and as an usher at the Jefferson Playhouse. Carol worked as an office clerk, school bus driver, restaurant hostess and retired as a Sales Manager for Sears Roebuck in Florida. She moved back to Alabama in 2003. She was preceded in death by husband, James T. Fisher; parents George and May Pennington Williams; siblings Gloria Williams, John Williams and Kenneth Williams. She is survived by her children, James T. Fisher Jr. of Mobile, Kevin C. Fisher of Mobile, Carol Jean Boyles of North East, Maryland, Debra L. Bridges of Irvington, AL, Cheryl Ann Fisher of Lake Grove, New York and Brian D. Fisher of Mobile. Carol is also survived by a sister, Mildred Wood Goldsby of Athens, Tennessee, 8 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. A Celebration of Life Service was held at First Baptist Tillman's Corner on Saturday, May 28, 2016 at 1 pm, with the Amazing Greys choir participating.
