CARL BRADLEY FOSTER JR's Obituary
WARNER ROBINS, GEORGIA –
Carl Bradley Foster, Jr., 71, passed away on Monday, January 6, 2025. Graveside Services will be held on Thursday, January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church Campground Cemetery.
Carl was born in Norfolk, Virginia, to the late Carl Foster, Sr, and the late Louise Foster Fuller. A longtime member of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church, he became Sanctified at a young age. He always enjoyed attending Camp Meeting in Perry with his family through the years. As he grew older, Carl became the perpetual learner. After graduating from high school, he earned a bachelor degree from Elizabeth City State University. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy for twenty years. After retirement from the military, Carl began working for the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) from where he eventually retired as a Branch Manager after twenty years. Still enrolled in college classes at age 70, he had earned several college degrees from various universities around the United States.
Carl was a musician who played drums his whole life and learned to play guitar, of which he owned seven. In his spare time and during retirement, he enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle, fishing, and working in his vegetable garden. Carl loved to cook, although hot dogs and ice cream were his meal of choice. He was a lifelong fan of the Washington Redskins. He lived in Hertford, North Carolina, for over twenty years and recently moved to Warner Robins to live with his daughter.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Carl Bradley Foster, III; a grandson, Zachary Emery; his brother-in-law, Vince Marrinucci; a nephew, Donnie Morrison; and a niece, Lisa Morrison.
Survivors include his wife of nineteen years, Laura Foster of Madison, North Carolina; his children, Derik Foster of Perry, Tracy Foster (Les Midgett) of Warner Robins, Jason Foster (Kay) of Texas, and J.D. Raub (Britney) of Currituck, North Carolina; a bonus daughter, Tamare Olch (Aaron) of Madison, North Carolina; nearly twenty grandchildren; one great grandchild; his sister, Sylvia Foster Marrinucci; and a niece, Christina Morrison.
