Carl Marion Creel's Obituary
Carl Marion Creel, age 85, a resident of Theodore, AL passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2016 at his home in Theodore, AL. He was born April 7, 1931 in Mobile, AL to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Lundy Creel. After high school, Carl enlisted in the Army and served in the Korean War. He retired from Teledyne Continental after more than 25 years of employment. Carl is survived by his wife, Patricia (Pat) Creel of Theodore, Al; two daughters, Charlotte (Steve) Francalancia; Vonnie (Justin) Barrett; three step-children, Tricia (Terry) Bowen; Kelly Stewart; Joanna (Carrie) Stewart; one sister, Teresa Holloway; ten grandchildren and two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.He is preceded in death by two sons, Mike Creel and Jimmy Creel; and sister, Eunice Scott.A funeral service will be held at Serenity Funeral Home on Monday, May 2, 2016. The family will be greeting friends and relatives from 12:00-2:00, with grave-side services following at 2:00.
