Calvin "Junior" Riggs' Obituary
Calvin “Junior” Riggs, age 71, a native of Bayou La Batre, AL passed away on Saturday, September 13, 2014. in Jefferson, LA. He was known in the fishing community as a commercial fisherman. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Jean Riggs, parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cleo Ladnier, brother, William Ladnier. He is survived by his children, Anitra (Thomas) Milne, Calvin (Lisa) Riggs, grandchildren, Jeana, Kayla, Thomas, Timothy, Alecia, Penny, Christina, Wesley, 6 great grandchildren, sisters, Patsy, Belinda, Eva, brother, Manual, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. Funeral service were held at Serenity Funeral Home on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at 2pm with visitation starting from 12 noon until service time. Interment was in Oddfellow Cemetery
