Bruce C. Atkinson, 85, passed away on Friday, August 14, 2015.
A gathering of his friends will take place at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, August 18, at Watson - Hunt Funeral Home.
Bruce, as he was known by everyone was born in Madison and had resided in Perry since 1967. An Art Major at the University of Georgia, he enjoyed gardening, cooking, traveling, and music. After he first moved to Perry, he was quite an entertainer. Many people will remember him from Houston Lake Country Club and as the chief tax appraiser at the Houston County Courthouse.
Left to cherish his memory is his good friend, Jerry A. Davis, 111 (Carol).
