Arrangements under the direction of Serenity Funeral Home, Theodore, AL. Brenda Susan Simmons, age 59, passed away Sunday, May 22, 2016. She was a life-long resident of Irvington, Alabama. She is survived by her husband, Louis Simmons and her daughter, Jennifer Tschudy. She also has three granddaughters who have her heart: Emalee Grace, Journey, and Addilyn. She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Emogene Barbour and survived by her father, Roy Barbour and brother, Tony Barbour. She will be remembered for her generous heart and kind spirit.
