Brenda Marie Simons, 54, went to be with her Heavenly Father, on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at her residence with her loving family by her side. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, at Christ's Sanctified Holy Church with interment in the church cemetery. Rev. Burnice E. Simons and Claire Simons will officiate. A visitation will be at Christ's Sanctifed Holy Church at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6. Brenda was the daughter of Josh Simons and the late Bernice Simons.
She was born in Norfolk, Virginia and had lived in Florida most of her life. Brenda was a member of Christ's Sanctified Holy Church and was Sanctified in 2003. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 30 years, Danny Simons of Deland, Florida; children, Tiffany Simons and Daniel Simons, both of Deland, Florida; siblings, Josh Simons, Jr. of Chesapeake, Virginia and Tony Simons of Orlando, Florida; father, Josh Simons, Sr. of Fort Valley.
