BONNIE CLELLAND MOORE's Obituary
JACKSONVILLE – Bonnie Clelland Moore, 79, of Jacksonville FL, left for her heavenly home on Tuesday, June 9, 2020. The visitation and viewing will be on Saturday, June 13, 2020, from 6:00 until 7:00 p.m. at Watson-Hunt Funeral Home in Perry, GA. The funeral will be held at 7:00 p.m. immediately following the viewing on Saturday at Watson-Hunt Funeral home. The burial will be on Sunday, June 14, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. in the Cemetery at Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church Campground in Perry, GA, with the Rev. Harry J. Collins, III officiating.
Bonnie had a special love for Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church all her life. Bonnie was born on February 1, 1941, in Decatur, GA. Later, the family moved to West Columbia, SC. She excelled in all she did and graduated as Valedictorian of the Class of 1959 at Brookland Cayce High School. She married Michael R. Moore and moved to Jacksonville, FL, where they owned and operated Brite Lite Signs for 45 years. She was a faithful attender and supporter of Christ’s Sanctified Holy Church, even for years before she and her husband got Sanctified in July of 2009.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Michael R. Moore; her parents, Rev. Joseph Clelland and Beatrice May Clelland; her brother-in-law, Paul P. Merritt, Jr.; and her sister-in-law, Terri M. Clelland.
Left to cherish the memories they made with Bonnie are her two sisters, Bertie Jo Clelland of the CSHC Campground in Perry, GA, and Hazel C. Merritt of West Columbia, SC; two brothers, Edward J. “Buddy” Clelland, Jr. of Jacksonville, FL, and Terry Lee Clelland, Sr. (René) of Wilmington, NC; two children, Lisa Moore of Jacksonville, FL, and Mark Moore of West Columbia, SC; her daughter-in-law, Tammy Moore; two grandchildren, Jake Moore (Bri) and Katey Moore; her niece and primary caregiver, Gay Clelland; other nieces and nephews, Terry Lee Clelland, Jr. (DeanNa) and their children, Kathryn and Joseph Clelland, Heather René Clelland, Nora Beth Clelland, her twin-nephews, Parker Joseph Clelland (Olivia) and Paul Raney Clelland, Kevin Vinson, Ted Wright, Ryan Vinson (Courtney) and their children, Mason, Aiden, and Ashlyn Vinson; and a whole host of cousins, friends, loved ones, and brothers and sisters in Christ. The family appreciates all the prayers, love, and support at this difficult time.
